Jared Goad going for trampoline gold at Canada Winter Games

Wednesday, January 14, 2015 - 11am

Jared Goad’s gold in the floor exercise was Nova Scotia’s first medal at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax.  He came in as a relative unknown.  “It was a surreal experience. I kind of went in as an unexpected person to do well at the games and just came out and did the best that I could on that day and it all really paid off,” he said....

Jared Goad, a trampoline athlete, appears to float in mid-air at Titans gymnastic club in Westphal. Goad, of Bible Hill, will compete in the Canada Games in Prince George, B.C., in February. (TIM KROCHAK / Chronicle Herald Staff)
