Govermnent funding and assistance
- The Small Business Impact Grant Part 3 will provide a 1-time grant of up to $5,000 to eligible Nova Scotia businesses that have been directly affected by public health measures introduced in April 2021. (May 2021)
- Sport Nova Scotia Sport Fund - Covid Recovery Grant (January 28, 2021) - Must contact your Regional Sport Consultant by February 22, 2021 (see information link for contact information and eligibility requirements)
- Grant Program Offers Support to Restaurants, Bars and Gyms in Halifax Regional Municipality and Hants County (November 26, 2020) - New grant program for businesses required to close on November 26th, 2020 for 2 weeks. Further information will follow on the availability of applications.
- Small Business Reoping and Support Grant (May 27, 2020) - Eligible businesses, non-profits, charities and social enterprises will be able to access the new Small Business Reopening and Support Grant. These grants are to help them open safely and business continuity vouchers for advice and support to become more resilient in the coming months. Applications will begin June 1.
