Gymnastics Nova Scotia -Suspension of Gymnastics Activity – COVID -19
In response to the ongoing concern from coronavirus (COVID-19), and in support of suggested recommendations from health authorities regarding limiting the spread of the virus, Gymnastics Nova Scotia is suspending sanctioned activities as of 6pm today (Friday, March 13th) until further notice.
Gymnastics NS sanctioned activities include all classes, camps, training, competitions and any workshops. Clubs are to refrain from any of these activities at this time or will be in breach of GNS Policies. As of this time, the GNS Provincial Championships are also postponed until further notice.
We apologize for the inconvenience; however, we feel this decision is in the best interest of protecting the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, officials and the general public.
GNS will distribute and post any updates on the GNS webpage and our social media channels as they are confirmed. We ask that clubs communicate this information to their members.
