Saturday, July 27, 2019 - 8pm

Oshawa, ON - Nova Scotia Trampolinist, Kai Dwyer (Fall River, NS) has won the Junior Men’s Trampoline individual title at the recent Canadian Trampoline Championships held in Oshawa Ontario.  Kai had a convincing lead, scoring 55.465 pts. Second place finisher Kieran Lupish from Ontario scored a total of 52.85 and third place finisher Mathieu Perreault from Quebec scored 49.53. Kai trains out of from Titans Gymnastics and Trampoline Club.

Gymnastics Nova Scotia fielded a team of 11 athletes who were competing in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling.

Tia Wamboldt also from the Titan’s Trampoline and Tumbling Club won silver in Women’s L5 17+ Trampoline.

These strong results contributed to the Men securing the Bronze Team award in Trampoline and in Double Mini Trampoline and the ladies winning Team Bronze in Double Mini Trampoline.

This is the first time in several years that Nova Scotia has sent a team this large. With athletes from Truro, HRM and the Valley representing the Province, Trampoline and Tumbling has a strong future.
