Kai Dwyer wins Silver medal at Canadian Trampoline Championships
Oshawa, ON – Local gymnast, Kai Dwyer (Fall River, NS) won a Silver medal in trampoline in the Junior category at the Canadian Trampoline and Tumbling Championships this past weekend in Oshawa, Ontairo. Kai had a total of 148.770 points finishing behind Gavin Dodd from BC who scored 155.145 points. Declan McLean, also from BC, was 3rd with a score of 147.755. Kai also placed 4th in Synchro Trampoline Senior finals with partner, Remi Aubin from Quebec.
In other action, Alex Ferrigno (Dartmouth, NS) placed 13th in the L5 Novice 16U category in Trampoline and 14th in DMT (Double Mini Trampoline). Tia Wamboldt (Wileville, NS) placed 19th in Women’s L5 Novice 17+ Trampoline.
All 3 Nova Scotia athletes train out of Titans Gymnastics and Trampoline Club in Dartmouth under coach, Dann McEntee.
