The WISE Fund invests in the development of female leaders and supports organizations in their engagement of girls and women in sport by providing 10 grants annually, each valued at $1000. The two core areas of emphasis are: retention of girls in sport and expanding female leadership in sport.
The GNS Educational Bursary Program is a financial Bursary funded by GNS to assist our members attending a post-secondary educational institution. Up to four awards of $500.00 each will be given out annually to active GNS members who exemplify the objectives of GNS, if there are suitable applications.
The Nova Scotia gymnastic family's current objective is to raise at least $10, 000 a year through the Excellency Fund Program. Donors may designate their donations to either a champions' fund or an education fund. The champions' fund will help our Provincial Team athletes with the costs of traveling to represent the province of Nova Scotia; the education fund will allow our judges and coaches to receive the proper certification levels without having to travel to another province.
Support4Sport funding is managed and distributed by Sport Nova Scotia, a non-profit, non-government organization, representing over 60 provincial sport organizations and more than 120,000 registered sport participants.
