Team Canada wins Bronze in Team Final
Team Canada made history tonight winning its first ever team medal at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships by winning bronze in the women's team final!
The historic podium finish also secured the women’s team a spot at Paris 2024. The United States won gold with 166.564 points and Britain followed with silver with 163.363 points. Team Canada, consisting of Ellie Black, Laurie Denommee, Denelle Pedrick, Emma Spence and Sydney Turner, had 160.563 points to win Bronze . NS had two athletes representing, with Denelle Pedrick competing a fabulous vault and Ellie Black hitting all four events.
